Changes on the Supervisory Board of FMS Wertmanagement
FMS Wertmanagement today announced that Jan Bettink has left the Supervisory Board at his own request upon the expiration of his term of office. For the past six years, he played a key role in shaping FMS Wertmanagement as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
“Showing great personal commitment and contributing his many years of experience, Mr Bettink provided the Executive Board with exceptional advice in his role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The Executive Board would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Mr Bettink for his tremendous support for FMS Wertmanagement,” said Christoph Müller, Spokesman of the Executive Board of FMS Wertmanagement.
Ingo Mandt previously resigned from the Supervisory Board for personal reasons in November 2019, prompting FMS Wertmanagement to thank him for his valuable work and the high level of expertise he brought to the Supervisory Board.
Dr. Michael Kemmer and Dr. Holger Horn were appointed as new members of the Supervisory Board of FMS Wertmanagement. Until the end of 2017, Dr. Michael Kemmer was General Manager and Member of the Board of Directors at the Association of German Banks in Berlin, having previously been Chairman of the Board of Management at Bayerische Landesbank between 2008 and 2009. Dr. Holger Horn is a member of the Board of Management of Münchener Hypothekenbank eG. He served as a member of the Board of Directors at DEPFA BANK plc in Dublin from 2014 to 2018.
Dr. Michael Kemmer was elected as Chairman of the newly formed Supervisory Board of FMS Wertmanagement.
FMS-WM was founded in 2010 with the aim of winding up the risk positions and operations that were transferred to the company from the Hypo Real Estate Group (HRE Group) effective 1 October 2010. FMS-WM is supervised by the Federal Agency for Financial Market Stabilisation.
